So You think you can dance is over "4" me~!

Last night ,just found out some of my friend that I met in the audition had made past the boot camp and got through the top 20 male & female. Must be tough going through 3day of choreography. They will be on TV. It gonna be like Malaysian Idol but in a dance way la. So interesting.
Well, for me. Sometime just struck me that I lose that chance. If i have just to more focus, more confident, more attraction, more eye contact, more flow, more this more there in the partner dance before, I could be at boot camp and could be going to the top 20. Shhhhhh....well, end up sitting in the office in front of the computer doing work. Shhhhhhhhh..... This life.. Boring~!
That more than in life than sitting in office working...

oh , well....this is the time in life that we are challenge. it definitely not easy. hat when Faith step in. So, i guess maybe this is not my time to do make it to be the top 20 cause serious i'm not ready but when are we even ready when God challenge us. I gonna have to believe when it's time, God will prepare me spiritually, mentally and physically.

For now, i got that practice my dance.not only breakdance and hip hop but the rest as well like comtemporary, lyrical,jazz, whatever...got to get abit of knowledge of it.
and also got to get back in my aggressive skating. got try winning some competition. Well, dance and skate equal to killer style killer talent .Wahahahaha~!!!.Why waste it~!

So You Think You Can Dance Experience~! Part 3 (final before Bootcamp)

Feww....Alright the final day before they select people to boot camp. And by the way, i got up this morning really feeling sick. Got flu and is like leaking out my nose..Suffer man~! limited of tissues in my bag. --------->

Got to panggung DBKL like 9am. Well,waited again. getting ourself warm up. Well, got a few people am out to volunteer to lead the warm up session Hahahaha~! even Michael Jackson impersonator.
Now...after that they spill us up into 2 groups, contemporary, lyrical slower dance etc and freestyle hip hop break dancer etc etc. Well, the "slow dance" group went in first. A few got eliminated and the twist is that they play hip hop songs for them.. (got some info from outside):D. So, i guess they will be playing for us a slow song....Alright alright.. I'm cool with it.
So it's our turn to go in. Group of 10, on stage 5 on the left 5 on the right. They play the song (it's sound like an indonesian song). And one by one come out and do their thing. Well, somehow I feel more relax. And i do my thing.. seems my dance like very emo i think.. Haha~! but someone say it was interesting.stuck in her head. HAHA~! Well, cut the story short.. the judge call us by number, line up, call us to pick our bags and line back up. 3 of us were called. judge sayyyyyyy "You still have hope for the next round" ..yeah~! got through... alright~!

oK, This is the time. Partner choreography partner dance.. We are gonna be dancing to a JAzz/ hiphop dance. Okay.~! sounds interesting. So all of us are on stage(around 60-70 people).And they call us to look for a partner so i walk around looking for a partner. Got one. Nice girl, cute hehe~! anyway..... Her name is Joeyda( is that how is spell??)(but pronounce with me "Jo" "E" "Da". Interesting name. So we got an hour of break...went out for quick lunch and the hall will be use for the 1st group. I'm the 2nd group. So after lunch, we end up backstage changing room resting and waiting. After like 45 minutes, It's our turn. Got to nail this down even if I'm sick. Hard but gotta do it. Alright, the choreographer is a Jazz dancer. She will be teaching us.. We have only 1 hour before performance time. well, the dance is alright. The whole dance we have to connect with our partner and the judges.. somehow I couldn't really do it well.. tried my best dy. but when i try to connect with my partner my dance cacat a bit.
1hours up....everyone on stage.... Got a practice run on stage. I don't seem to be nailing it. errr... I feel really warm..maybe cause I'm kinda sick.
Alright, so we did the dance to show the judge. tried my best. really nervous but having fun..
Sometime i to focus on my dance and I lose it... darn.. Well, after our dance....they all us to switch partner...OoooNoooo.... But somehow i kinda connect better abit with the new partner. Well, we're done... got to back stage and waited.. And you know what. After the 3rd group finish. the judges need like 3 hours plus to think things over..Now is like 6pm. So result will be like 9 or 10..
Well, long wait........ went..dinner wet back to the hall and wait wait wait...SO boring until the PA guy start playing songs.. Some people push the 8tv crew dance. And the whole night end up to be a dance party. Everyone was having chaos fun. MJ impersonator having his thriller session. haha~! it was chaos funny man.. everyone is like so stress out and this really help to relief the monkey on our back. I really had a good time.
Well, before someone plan to dance the Jazz?hiphop partner dance routine again as a big group, we all were called to line up to go back stage. Alright the time has come. Guys and the girls were split up.. 30 guys left. I'm one of them.. wow~! split us into 3 group of 10.
cut story short, guys went up 1st. 3 group.. Im in the 2nd group. Intense man..4 guys already in boot camp and they need 14 guys out of us 30...Well, the 1st group all of them made it to boot camp.woooooooo~! 10 people got through. darn only left 4. And when our group was call out front..They say all of us did our best, there is some struggle in the choreography but we manage to pull out a performance. but.....it's not enough...I'm sorry, all of you're didn't make it... Darn~!!!!
Was a bit disappointed but relieve that is over. You know that feeling that you want to make it further but somehow you feel tired and cannot do it anymore but wanna to move further...shhhhhh.... That was like the silent night walking away from Panggung DBKl knowing that I'm not coming back here anymore and walking to the LRT to head home. Was disappointing but kinda happy tat i made ti this far cause my mind was i can only make pass 1st audition only but i made further then i expect. :) GOd is good~!

Through out this Journey i have definitely learn alot. To believe in faith. After all of this, i feel more confident, more alive, eyes are open to see there is more in life than what we are currently doing. All the problem seem to have an answer to solving it. It definitely build me up to be a better person.

Alright~! well well well....I made it through the audition.. Thank You God~! :D

19/03/07 Monday - Am I ready for my solo???? errr...not really.. HAHAHA~!

Well, Got up pretty early in the morning around 7 something and try to make it down to Kl before 9 something. Got there saw a few familiar faces from the audition. So, today is the day we dance to our song and doing solo routine. So The stage is all ours. Well, The song I pick was Petrified by Fort Minor. thought is was a god song to pop and lock and do some hip hop routine to.
Alright, sop the day begin by putting us in group of 10 again. But now by number sequence. So all of us(around 80 plus contestant went in the hall). Oh Crap....Everyone will be watching me do solo...Ahhhhh.. This is kinda my first time doing solo and some more to a crowd of people.. Nervous and really really nervous....If say perform in church still okay but to a crowd of people and somemore the judges.... And some more i did not prepare any routine but just plan to do what comes in mind. Freestyle all the way.... Alright ..all of us are in the hall...some how after praying a while, i don't seem to be so worry. And the shocking thing is that I am the 5th person to go up...Wohhhooooo...Okay~!!! Let's nail it... GOD~! help me pass this Lord~!

Well, is time.... My turn...NEXT~!!!!! Going on stage was really unexplainable feeling..... Waiting for the song to start was really making me nervous.Every second seems so long.... Anyway, i did my I could.. Perform my best.. trying not to look down but express my dance to the camera and judges... Tell you the truth, That was definately one of the longest solo I ever did... Wooooo~!
Comment time by the Judges... 1 first judge say that the solo i did, is so mormal and he seen before not much out of it. Alright...I don't say he is right or wrong but yeah..i think i did something normal but definately my best.... But he also say that he can only see me as a hiphop dancer.nothing else... most of the other dancer even if they dance Hip Hop, They can see they are able dance other styles... So, Alright one of the judges is Ramly Ibrahim..hope I spell his name right..... He say can you take off your cap??? can you take off your shoes?? alright...I did so and i was thinking ...are they checking me out~!???? hahaha~~!!:) Well, anyway, they ask me can u dance to a slow song>?? can you dance contemporary? Okay..... Suddenly my mind just say Okay sure...let's do it... without any doubt. So they played a slow song, a i just did what i have to do. Definately God had gave me the confident to do so. May not be the best but i tried.
I think they enjoyed it.. Well they first judge say No.. but 2 of the other judges say YES.. They say I have showmanship, expression, personality and they want to see more of me. You got the call back...AHAHHAHA~! Thank You~! Thank You~! thank You GOd~! But if they really like you and think you are good they will just send you straight to boot camp( The top40 dancers).

So went off stage with smile inside and kinda relief that my solo is over. Actually, now I can't really remember the other things that the judges say..but what the hack...i'm done...
So went out and i have and interview with the 8Tv host. So, will see me on TV. Haha~!
i was really tired that day, went to burger king. Had a Fish burger and i fell a sleep athere for like half and hour.. WAuuuu..... Really drain out of my shoe man.... Went back to the auditorium then..maybe can sleep there... :)
So waited like in the auditorium watching the other contestant until the end. That was like already 9 something.. cause need to brief and video shoot.
Well, anyway, I am still in it.... Really is not my work but God is definitely challenging me in doing things that I'm not comfortable with but really open up door for me thru this audition. Thank You God~!!!!

So You Think You Can Dance Experience~! Part 1

16 April 2007 - This is definitely the first time iI ever join an audition or a competition. Took leave from work for this. Nervous but excited . Got up early in the morning, got my stuff ready hit the road with Tek Yan (thank you so much for joining me in this journey). Got There at Panggung DBKL a around 8.40am. Audition starts at 9. But, like usual, we waited in line outside the hot sun for like 1 hour plus just to get ourself in and register. "10030" that's my number... it's around 11.30am, Got in the hall of panggung DBKL and did some stretching and waiting and waiting and waiting and Waiting..... fewwwwww.. 12 plus, then they started line us up n group of 10 to go in. I was like really nervous and keep on drinking water cause really fell thirsty. So, just started praying a short prayer and declaring that God will put me thru. I just end my prayer with Thank you God for putting me thru the audition. Just knowing that i will made it.
The time has come, our group walk in. Waiting at the backstage for the cameras to roll. But there is a twist..... They are not going to play our song that we brought for the audition but playing their own song. ok ok.... Nervous nervous.. So, we line up on stage and they played PUMP IT by Black Eyed Peas. so One by one came out doing their thing until the judges say next. So we change. Tek Yan was before me. We did his thing but his shoe came off.. Crap~! lost his momentum in his dance. He really did what he can. Then I heard the judges say next. Spotlight shining at me. the moment has come. Came out did a front hand spring. Did my dance. thought it went well but a bit crazy... Don't know when to stop until the Judge say next. FEwwww.... the adrenaline was there.. Really when well i think...
We're done. Walk to backstage and waited. A few minutes later, they call us out again for a short talk. They ask our name , where we live, age etc etc. then they start to ask us question. most of us have different question ah. but most of them kena question like what other style of dancing can you do? or how long have u been dancing? or are you a trained dance? Well..i didn't kena all that dancing question. mine, i think is the most basic question among all.. The last question i got was "If you got the change to be a professional dancer will you take it? I just answer..If you guys give me a opportunity to, i will love to do so. They ask " So whats plan B for you?". I say start a clothing line. And they say it was a good answer. So I'm done with my Q&A session..
Went back again to the backstage and waited for another group to finish... Sitting there just waiting for the result. Getting really anxious... what will it be.. Then, came the Crew. They started calling out number and my number was one of them. was like darn....Am i out already??
Okay.....the number that i have just called are coming back for the "Call Back". Ahhhhhhh~!!!! I'm still in it.... really sadly Tek Yan did not make it. Darn,... now my journey goes without a him. Sorry~!

The Time Has Ended Or Come?

Well, it think it's time to call it quits. I fell like I am surrounded by a wall of brick. It think it is time to stop make things better myself. Make things to go back to the way it is use to. The time has come, To quit.. And let time make the differents. Do i really want to go back like before? It hard to leave something precious but izzit really what that precious.

God, i know it up to you to help me to do this cause I can't do this on my own. I surrender this to you now...
